Title:
Human Resource Generalist Key Functions:
Strategic business partner and member of the Evergreen leadership team as well as ELP HR team.
Facilitate ELP workforce planning and talent management process for manufacturing.
Proactively manage HR administrative activities and employee relations.
Ensures compliance requirements and champions diversity goals and inclusive work environment.
Manage education, training and continuous development of skills for leaders and associates.
Manages compensation and wage analysis to assure that facility is competitive and retain critical skills.
Ensures state and federal compliance requirements.
Prepare and analyze reports for quarterly and annual reporting (workforce representation, turnover and headcount reports).
Responsible for salaried & hourly staffing functions (includes sourcing, recruiting, retention and on boarding process.
) Supports Wood Products HR initiatives.
Requirements:
5 years of human resource generalist or equivalent experience in key HR functions.
Experience in leading change management initiatives.
Strong coaching and influencing skills.
Critical thinker with strong problem solving skills and possess courage to intervene Ability to develop and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships at site, across WP businesses and in the local community.
Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills.
Experience in issue resolution and employee relations.
Experience in Talent and Performance Management.
Strong sourcing, recruiting and staffing capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, manages multiple priorities, assess HR implications and manage details.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in HR systems.
Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws.
Associate Degree and/or Human Resource Certification.
The following qualifications are preferred:
