2014 Job Description Are you good with computers but looking for a little more excitement than is usually experienced in a cubicle? Then join the Army National Guard as a Field Artillery Tactical Data System Specialist.
As part of an elite field artillery team, you will operate tactical data systems on a Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) while learning in-demand computer skills.
As your skills increase, so will your responsibilities.
Advanced team members supervise and train other Soldiers, as well as perform higher-level technical duties, such as fire mission processing, fire plan scheduling, database construction, initiating computer center operations, and performing maintenance on section equipment.
Plus, the skills you learn as a Field Artillery Tactical Data System Specialist prepare you for a lucrative civilian career working with computer and communications systems.
