Family Care Specialist are given much independence to complete their job and great pay.
These specialists are responsible for the following:
1.
Taking calls from dispatchers and being on route to the residence 2.
Traveling to the location of passed loved ones including family residences 3.
Filling out all applicable paperwork 4.
Interacting professionally and compassionately with family, loved ones, medical personnel, and other professionals 5.
Compassionately moving loved ones and transport to the destination 6.
Moving loved ones independently weighing up to 250 Pounds 7.
Operating a company vehicle in a safe and professional manner 8.
Maintaining proper supplies and PPE in the vehicle 9.
Maintaining a clean vehicle 10.
Maintaining a professional appearance 11.
Contact family and contact with ETA 12.
Be aware, understand, and practice universal precautions Dress Code Business Casual On-Call While on call, specialist are required to 1.
Answer all calls from Journey Mortuary Services 2.
Takedown required information for removal 3.
Able to be professionally dressed and groomed to head to a destination within 15 minutes FCS-001 Family Care Specialist Job Description Position Title Family Care Specialist Operational Employee Yes FLSA Exemption Per Diem, Non-Exempt Department Family Services Location Pensacola, FL Shift Variable Manager Family Care Manager Benefits No Pay $50.
00 Base pay per day (24 hours) on call Plus $30.
00 Base per removal (usually about 1-2 hours) Plus $0.
50 per loaded mile driven over 25 miles per removal.
$12.
00 per hour for other training, maintenance, and other hourly tasks that may be assigned.
Access to Gas Card Yes Journey Mortuary Services LLC is a Florida Drug-Free Workplace and follows all applicable laws according to Chapter 440 of the Florida Statutes which includes drug testing for this position.
