Summary:
Provides direct nursing care to patients in the emergency services area in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities:
Triages and prioritizes patient care based on acuity level and available resources.
Implements and monitors patient care plans.
Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Works collaboratively with other disciplines to provide well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Education &
Experience:
Two years of experience as a Staff Registered Nurse preferred. N.
Graduate of a Registered Nursing program required.
Licenses & Certifications:
Current ACLS certification required.
Current BLS certification required.
Current ENPC required or must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
Current NRP preferred.
Current PALS certification is required.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida required or licensure eligible.
TNCC or ITLS required or must be obtained within twelve months of hire date into job.
