00 Description:
This position serves as an Assistant to the Deputy Chief Judge.
Maintains Judge's calendar, schedules appointments, conference calls, and video teleconference rooms.
Prepares, proofreads, and edits orders and notices.
Receives, routes and screens telephone calls for Judges, and answers questions which may involve interpretation of policies and procedures.
Examples of Work:
Review and audit of data regarding litigation trends and performance.
Create, edit, and finalize periodic data reports regarding performance and volume measures.
Communicate with various judges, staff, and clerk's office regarding correction of data, increased compliance with standards, and performance.
Serve as back-up to district and central staff regarding scheduling, rescheduling and other clerk functions such as order preparation, uploading, and verification.
Answer staff questions regarding data reports and performance communications.
Perform such other duties as may from time to time be assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
Knowledge of computer software including applications.
Ability to identify essential information.
Ability to listen to what other people are saying and ask questions as appropriate.
Ability to talk to others to effectively convey information.
Ability to manage one's own time.
Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Experience in a Legal setting is preferred.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Must possess a high school diploma or the equivalent.
Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
