Automotive Assistant Service Manager
Confidential Confidential Pensacola, FL Pensacola, FL Full-time Full-time $60,000 - $90,000 a year $60,000 - $90,000 a year We are looking for an experienced Assistant Service Manager for a busy automotive dealership.
Under the supervision of the Service Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service shop in order to maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks by ensuring all repair orders written by service advisors are written with the clarity required to properly describe the work that needs to be done and dispatching all service work to the appropriate qualified technician.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Dispatches all service work to the appropriate qualified technician in an equal and fair manner Monitors the progress of each repair order and informs either the Service Advisor or customer of any additional services needed Assists in maintaining manufacturer Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) at or above company standards Assists in establishing and overseeing safety standards to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures Oversees the maintenance and updates of the shop's equipment Ensures that all technicians receive appropriate manufacturer training and assists in the training and development of the shop's employees according to company standards Maintains a safe and professional work environment Other duties as assigned Job Type:
