This facility manufactures and distributes acoustical ceilings for commercial and residential installations in the United States and overseas.
Primary responsibilities include:
Safe and effective setup and operation of manufacturing equipment.
Know how and where to find process specifications and procedures and adhere to them.
Demonstrate and insist upon accuracy in all reporting measure product quality, mobile equipment operation, product inspection, product packaging, scrap material reclamation.
Maintain a skill level of the operation and a knowledge on equipment operation and product quality that allow for the assisting of setting up all aspects of the operation during start-ups and changeovers Maintain housekeeping at a level of excellence at all times in work areas.
Demonstrate and insist upon accuracy in all reporting.
Recognize product quality and help diagnose problems.
Follow all safety rules and insist that all employees associated with the operation do the same.
Perform miscellaneous duties as required or requested.
Requirements of the position include:
High School diploma or GED Pre-screen interview Submit to a skill level evaluation Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime and weekends Ability to communicate and effectively work with others Benefits offered by Armstrong World Industries:
