ETS Engineer III

Overview
To research, evaluate, analyze, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. To develop and evaluate information, and prepare recommendations based on analysis for use in decision making. To support the respective ETS group's functions, projects, and activities.
Responsibilities

Scope of responsibility
Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems
Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices
Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs
Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems
Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions
Analyze functional, technical, and project requirements to determine the most appropriate application testing approach
Ability to work in SAFe Agile methodology with product team
Work with the business unit and product team to define requirements
Create effective test strategies, plans, and scripts
Perform integration, regression, and functional testing on changes/enhancements
Support business unit through a testing process
Analyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work methods, processes, service specific practices, standards and metrics/statistics
Interpret results of analysis; present recommendations, including alternatives and implications
Collaborate with other business units to analyze and improve processing procedures and resolve problems
Analyze changes in policies, procedures and products; determine the impact on the group functions
Identify and analyze opportunities for new and/or improved processes, data, or technology; provide clear picture of possible outcomes
Work with peers, business units and/or project teams, and vendors to ensure business needs are fully communicated, documented and satisfied
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, and establish processes and methodologies for preventative
Compile, review and prepare data to be used by analysts and management in the analysis of operations, services and products
Conduct benchmarking, trend analysis and other input to drive continuous improvement and elevate service performance
Analyze information to produce analytically-driven inferences and hypotheses to generate actionable recommendations
Solve business problems by defining the problem, interviewing stakeholders, identifying and evaluating alternatives, and presenting findings
Provide input into best practices for the respective area
Ensure compliance with Navy Federal Credit Union ISD standards and best practices
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge and experience utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and other testing tools
Experience as a test lead for the most complex and/or highly visible projects
Expert knowledge of the planning and testing phases of Navy Federal's systems development life cycle
Ability to represent CBTS in the highest priority and complex project meetings
Experience performing investigative, technical, or related system analysis on evident and/or complex projects
Expert in system testing best practices
Experience planning, prioritizing, and delegating tasks for highly complex and/or visible projects
Significant experience in IT solution creation and delivery with increased business intelligence
Experience working in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects
Exposure to leading, guiding & mentoring others
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions
Advanced skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Advanced research, analytical, and problem solving skills
Advanced organizational, planning and time management skills
Effective skill communicating with all levels within an organization

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or other related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience
Desired Qualifications
ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) certification
ISTQB Certified Tester, Advanced Level (CTAL) certification
SAFe Agile certification
Knowledge of Java, Selenium and Cucumber
Knowledge of Navy Federal's services, products, and functions
Knowledge of Navy Federal business processes and applications
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
