Duties/Responsibilities Primary responsibility is for updating and maintaining a current, consistent, positive and engaging presence for our organization on our website, and all social media accounts.
Creative graphic design and the development of marketing collaterals are essential components of this position.
Secondary responsibilities are to support all aspects of Communication and Funds Development initiatives which includes the planning and implementation of special events, grant writing, solicitation of funds, program specific marketing and other funds development opportunities identified.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Funds Development.
Experience:
Minimum 2 (2) years of successful communications and funds development experience with an emphasis on marketing and donor and community relationships, preferably in a philanthropic or human service organization.

Proficiency with internet resources, website platforms, and social media with an emphasis on building strong and vibrant, and engaged online communities Strong technological skills, especially with social media and website platforms Proficient graphic design skills Strong task management and project organizational skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to effectively meet deadlines with accuracy and thoroughness Exceptional verbal and written business communication and interpersonal skills Ability to interact positively and effectively with both internal and external contacts Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization Independently troubleshoot and problem-solve issues identified Provide analytical reports on funds development initiatives as required Effective public speaking and ability to represent the organization in a variety of settings Personal enthusiasm for and commitment to communication and funds development Proven ability to manage confidential information and maintain a high level of credibility at all times Ability to respond effectively to changing situations with sound and accurate judgment Proficiency in databases, especially donor/membership/contacts management systems Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
