Job Description:

The Health Sciences Department offers college-level Radiography courses in the following formats: face-to-face. Adjunct instructors instruct students, develop curricula, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, and maintain College and department standards. This position reports to the Department Head, Health Sciences.
Adjuncts serving as clinical preceptors must, at a minimum:
  • Maintain knowledge of program mission and goals;
  • Understand the clinical objectives and clinical evaluation system and evaluate students' clinical competence;
  • Provide students with clinical instruction and supervision;
  • Participate in the assessment process, as appropriate;
  • Maintain current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress and monitor and enforce program policies and procedures.

Minimum
Qualifications:
To teach in the Radiologic Technology program, an Associate's degree in a qualifying field and current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification is required. Successful results of a criminal background check are also required. Instructors must be able to use technology required for assigned course(s).

Salary Range: Adjunct Faculty shall be paid on an hourly basis according to degree level as follows:
Bachelor's Degree or less: $29.75
Master's Degree: $33.00
Doctorate: $36.00
NOTE: This is an open applicant pool. Positions are filled by the department on an as needed basis.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
