Job Description Manufacturing Technician:

Kelly Services is looking to hire manufacturing techs in the Pensacola area.
Ideal candidates are team players with good attendance who want to learn and expand their skills and talents.
1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts are available.
Pay range is $10.
75-$11.
82 based on the shift.
Training will be 1st or 2nd Some of the Responsibilities to include:
- Start-up and shutdown of equipment- Prepares all data forms with proper information for production run scheduled.
(SAP Nice to have)- Set up any necessary equipment used to perform the production run, with little or no supervision.
- Review finished product specifications to be sure product meets all criteria.
- May bring polymer solutions to the casting line and zeroes pore properties according to written procedures with little or no supervision.
May also thread oven and windup.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area- Notify Supervisor or Group Leader Mechanic of any problems which may arise during production run as necessary.
- Visually inspect membrane for defects in order to meet customer specifications.
- Perform necessary measurements and tests.
Enter data into MMIS accurately.
Requirements Some of the required skills and knowledge:
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (converting fractions to decimals, subtraction, division, taking measurements) and knowledge of metric system.
- Ability to read, comprehends, follow and apply sometimes-complex written instructions and procedures.
- Ability to use simple tools such as screwdriver, wrenches and pliers.
- Knowledge of computers or word processing.
- Knowledge of and ability to perform general maintenance tasks.
- Ability to trouble shoot equipment, product or process and determine root cause.
- Ability to work with certain solvents such as acetone, alcohol, and other common substances.
