Appliance Service Technician
Whirlpool Factory Certified Care provided by S&S Appliance Parts and Service needs service technicians for the Birmingham, AL, Huntsville, AL, Mobile, AL, Pensacola, FL, and Ft. Walton, FL areas. S&S Appliance Parts and Service is based out of Birmingham, AL, we have been the largest independent servicer in state of Alabama since 1959. We are the preferred servicer for Whirlpool and exclusively work on Whirlpool products. Products repaired include the following home appliances: Washers & Dryers, Gas & Electric Stoves, Microwave Ovens, Dishwashers, Trash Compactors, Garbage Disposers, Refrigeration, and other home appliances. This position provides timely and quality repairs of customers' products while maintaining high levels of customer service.
Provide in-home service on the full line of Whirlpool, Maytag, Kitchen Aid, Jenn-Air and Amana products ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments.
Meet key performance metrics and/or productivity goals as defined by the business.
Provide repair cost estimates, and recommend whether appliance repair or replacement is a better choice.
Continuously look for methods to improve business performance and enhance the customer experience.
Maintain truck stock inventory within the prescribed company guidelines and standards.
Follow the truck maintenance schedule and keep a clean, organized truck.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Strong customer service and negotiation skills.
Ability to take ownership of customer complaint and work with them to a successful resolution.
Exceptional communication and strong interpersonal skills, including written correspondence.
2 years of appliance repair experience preferred.
